Melinda is new to the Career and Professional Development team as of June 2024. Before that, she was teaching special education at the middle and high school levels for ten years. She believes in building relationships with students to help them achieve their goals and meet their maximum potentials. She is an avid hiker, reader, and is a New Englander at heart (but loves the New River Valley!).
