Jennifer Heinold

Originally from Illinois, Jen joined Virginia Tech in 2017, and joined the Career and Professional Development team in the fall of 2019. She enjoys helping students and is excited to use the experience she brings through many years of academic advising to career advising. Through one-on-one advising and/or presentations, Jen is available to assist students with the following areas: resume writing, cover letter writing, interviewing skills, career/major exploration, self-development assessments, navigating the job search process, networking skills, career fair preparation, federal job search process, and LinkedIn help and guidance.
