Kassee Sosa

As of June 2024, Kassee Sosa serves as an Assistant Director with Career and Professional Development, after having served for two years, August 2022 through May 2024, as our graduate assistant while she pursued and completed her M.A. Ed. in Higher Education and Student Affairs at Virginia Tech. Kassee is also an alumna of James Madison University where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. At JMU she also completed two minors, one in Sociology, and the other in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. During Kassee’s undergraduate studies, she gained experience in orientation, peer advising, peer mentoring, and first-year academic intervention programs. Kassee enjoys working with underrepresented and underserved students, and she is excited to continue working in higher education and student affairs, and to help students navigate their career and professional development journey.
