Kassee Sosa

Kassee Sosa joined Career and Professional Development in August 2022 as our graduate assistant. Kassee is a recent graduate of James Madison University where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. At JMU she also completed two minors, one in Sociology, and the other in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. While working in Career and Professional Development, Kassee is pursuing her master’s degree in the Higher Education and Student Affairs Program at Virginia Tech. During Kassee’s undergraduate studies, she gained experience in orientation, peer advising, peer mentoring, and first-year academic intervention programs. Kassee would like to eventually work more closely with underrepresented and underserved students, and she is excited to gain new experiences in the world of higher education and student affairs to learn more about helping students navigate their higher education experiences.
