Kayla Branson

Program Coordinator

Kayla is a proud Virginia Tech alumna, class of 2017. She received a B.S. in Apparel, Housing, and Resource Management with a major in Fashion Merchandising and Design. During her undergraduate experience, she was involved with Chi Omega and the Fashion Merchandising and Design Society. Kayla rejoined the Career and Professional Development team in July 2019, after having worked as a Peer Career Advisor in the office from 2014 to 2017, where she was able to both advise students and coordinate the Career Outfitters program. While she continues to spend her time on her “side hustle” of event planning and fashion styling, she has returned to her passion of working with students. She enjoys helping them discover what they are passionate about, while assisting them with their professional development journey. When she is out of the office, she enjoys exploring Blacksburg and the New River Valley, spending time with her family and friends, listening to live music, and supporting the HOKIES!
