HPEC timeline and deadlines for students
HPEC timeline during 2023-2024 for students who wish to apply during 2024 to matriculate in fall 2025:

| Tues. October 10, 2023, 9am ET | HPEC Portal opens. Request to join the HPA Hub on Canvas to gain access. All details are explained there. |
| October - December 2023 | Prepare HPEC materials:
(Note: None of the materials you submit, and none of the assessments completed about you, are forwarded to any health professional schools. They are only used for the HPEC process, including writing your committee letter.) |
| October 2023 - January 2024 | Meet with HPA advisors to review materials and go over advising questionnaire and/or competencies. See HPA advising and how to schedule. |
| Thur. December 7, 2023, 9am ET | HPEC Application + Document Section open. |
| Mon. December 18, 2023, 2:30-4pm ET | HPEC Application workshop: critique materials. See HPA events for details. (same offered in January; next item.) |
| Fr. January 19, 2024, 3-4:30pm ET | HPEC Application workshop: critique materials. See HPA events for details. (same offered in December; previous item.) |
| Wed. January 31, 2024, 5pm ET | HPEC Portal closes. This is the deadline for submission of all materials by applicants. This is the deadline for submission of assessments by assessors. |
| February 2024 | Selected students and alumni are notified, and are permitted to select an interview date. |
| Tues. February 13, 2024, 9am ET | Secondary application portal opens. |
| Mon. March 11, 2024, 4pm ET | Secondary applications due; portal closes. |
| Wed. March 13, to Wed. May 8, 2024 | HPEC interviews. |
| May 2024 | Committee letters written. |
| June 2024 | Request committee letter. |
