Summer experience survey

What did you do in summer 2023?

Career and Professional Development conducted a survey of Virginia Tech students to learn what you did during summer 2023.

• The survey was open to all students enrolled at Virginia Tech in fall 2023.
• The survey was completely voluntary.
• The survey was open from 8am ET, Monday, Aug. 21, through 8am ET, Tuesday, Sep. 5, 2023.
• (It was in Handshake where you can update your profile and more.)
• Eligible students who completed the survey could be entered into a drawing for a gift, Airpods Pro (2^nd generation) earbuds (valued at $250), sponsored by Verizon.
  • The random drawing selects four students to receive a gift.
  • No one was required to be in the gift drawing; in the survey students could indicate if you wished to be included or not.
  • Multiple attempts to complete the survey would not be considered to select gift winners. Only one submission considered per student.
  • Gift winners will be notified by September 14, 2023, and will pick up your gift at the Smith Career Center.

After the survey closes, we'll share and publish aggregate results. We will not share details of individual responses with anyone.
