Education and Human Services is for students interested in careers that can shape and improve quality of life for others. Positions in this pathway include teaching/training in either traditional classroom settings or outside of the classroom, social agencies, non-profits, and local and state
governments. Professionals manage and coordinate services for individuals and families to address human needs. Skills needed in this pathway include communication, problem-solving, adaptability, patience, instructional techniques, assessment and evaluation, time management, and cultural competence. Careers in this pathway guide and influence people to gain and apply knowledge, develop skills, and connect people to services and resources to improve their quality of life.
