Intern Responsibilities
Gain experience in client communication and design process by:
- Support meeting with clients to establish the desired look and feel for their design projects.
- Assist with providing on-brand design solutions that support the marketing team’s goals.
- Assist with contributing to the creative process with original ideas and the development of creative concepts.
Develop skills in design execution by:
- Help with creating marketing materials and content that showcase the brand image consistently to customers.
- Support with meeting deadlines with various design projects including technical guides, flyers, images, digital ads, website banners, packaging, creative assets, event and marketing materials, media kits, sales/marketing decks, and more.
- Applying brand identity systems, typography, photography, color, and other ingredients appropriately to create innovative visual solutions that meet business and user needs.
Gain experience in video and photography production by:
- Collaborating with the Digital Marketing team to design and test email communications.
- Producing strong videography, photography, GIF, and video content for social media and digital ads.
- Ensuring the correct formatting and presentation for finalized videos according to client specifications.
Contribute to team operations and growth by:
- Helping manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Promoting content that is created by you and your team when appropriate.
- Assisting with meeting scheduling, set up, logistics, and note-taking/meeting minutes.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants for this internship program must meet one of the following criteria:
- Must be currently enrolled in an educational institution and receiving school credit for the internship.
- Must be able to demonstrate that the internship is integrated with their coursework, enhancing their educational experience.
- Must fulfill specific educational requirements set by their institution, department, or major program of study.
Qualifications
- Degree/profile in Graphic Design, Media Arts, etc.
- Fluent English (Bilingual is a plus).
- Business-oriented and open-minded.
- Good communication skills.
- Able to gain people’s confidence and put them at ease.
- Able to cope with pressure.
- Flexible and adaptable.
Duration, Schedule, and Pay
Internship Duration: This is a 3-6 month unpaid internship.
Positions Available: We are seeking either 1 full-time intern or 2 part-time interns (one for morning shifts, one for afternoon shifts).
Shift Options: Choose from the following shift options:
- 20 hours per week for 6 months
- 30 hours per week for 4 months
- 40 hours per week for 3 months
Daily Schedule: You will be required to work 4 hours per day between 6 AM and 10 PM EST. There is flexibility in choosing the specific hours that best fit your schedule, as long as you complete your required shift hours for the week by Friday at 10 PM EST.
