The Rotational Technical Services Engineer Co-op will support client ballistics fiber and armor businesses, working with advanced ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) fiber and composite systems used in medical and ballistic applications. Through two structured six-month rotations, the co-op will gain hands-on experience in Technical Sales (T&S) and Commercial Marketing activities including: New Product Development (NPD), material performance and business data analysis, and
cross-functional project support.
This role offers direct exposure to business management, R&D environments, and technical problem solving, while building foundational skills for a career in materials engineering, technical services, or strategic marketing.

Key Responsibilities
Support T&S Engineering activities for ballistics fiber, composite, and armor materials.
Analyze material, process, and performance data using Excel and Minitab to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Assist with new product development (NPD), product qualification, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support troubleshooting of customer-reported performance issues, contributing to root cause analysis.
Prepare technical reports, dashboards, and PowerPoint presentations for internal teams.
Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and Commercial teams.
Gain exposure to how customer requirements, specifications, and processing conditions translate into material and system performance.
Qualifications
Education
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or similar in:
Engineering
Materials Science
Polymers/ Composite Materials
Or a related scientific or technical discipline
Ongoing academic development, including:
Ongoing Master’s degree studies, and/or
Other relevant engineering or business administration coursework+
