Unplanned closings, such as for inclement weather, are announced on university status. When the Blacksburg campus is closed, Career and Professional Development is closed.

CPD = Career and Professional Development office.
SCC = Smith Career Center building on the Blacksburg campus.
On some dates and times, as noted below, the SCC building is closed, while the CPD office provides service by phone, email, and Zoom. When the CPD office is closed, the SCC building must be closed.
