• Please be aware that mapping to a campus building will not necessarily provide the parking information you need, including university rules about parking and parking passes.

Smith Career Center closest parking: Coliseum Lot

• Congested area on weekdays around 5:00 pm.
• Closed to parking during home basketball games (schedules on Hokie Sports.com).
• Across from Smith Career Center accessible from Washington Street or Beamer Way.
• Entrance is 440 feet from traffic roundabout traveling east.
• You can Google Map to "Coliseum Parking Lot Sbnd, Blacksburg, VA"

Parking when Coliseum Lot is full or off-limits due to athletic events

• Lots behind Life Sciences 1 and Biocomplexity Institute of Virginia Tech.
• Bounded by and accessible from Duck Pond Drive and Washington Street.
• You can Google Map to "Life Science Circle, Blacksburg, VA"
• Entrance is 0.1 mile from traffic roundabout traveling west.

The university requires parking passes for everyone who parks on campus, including visitors.

• Visitors who have not received a parking pass in advance, or who are not attending an event that supplies parking passes, must obtain a parking pass.
• See Visitor Parking for how to purchase a pass, and for complete, up-to-date information on where to park. Visitors may use ParkMobile provided by Parking Services to pay for parking on campus.

Career and Professional Development has no authority over campus parking and cannot void parking tickets.

To reach Prices Fork Road and The Inn and the Visitor Center:

Note that except at traffic lights with pedestrian crossing signals, vehicles should stop for pedestrians at crosswalks on campus.

Option: Parking in Coliseum Lot
This is a very congested area on weekdays around 5:00 pm.
Coliseum Lot is closed to evening parking during home basketball games. See Hokie Sports.com for schedules.

1. From The Inn or Visitor Center:
   1. At main entrance, turn right onto Prices Fork Road; go 0.2 mile; at traffic light use right turn lane that feeds directly onto West Campus Drive; travel 0.8 mile to next point.
      OR
   2. Use west-side entrance/exit for The Inn to turn right onto West Campus Drive; travel 0.7 mile to next point.
2. West Campus Drive ends at the roundabout (traffic circle) where it meets Washington Street (Smith Career Center on your left at that intersection). Follow the roundabout to second exit onto Washington Street, eastbound.
3. Travel 0.1 mile to first right into Coliseum lot.
4. See Visitor Parking for accurate and up-to-date information on types of parking spaces you may use. See your parking pass for all rules.
   
5. Smith Career Center is across Washington St. from Coliseum lot.
6. Main reception desk on first floor.
   Employers conducting interviews may come directly to second floor reception desk.

Option: Parking in Litton-Reaves lot when Coliseum Lot is full or restricted for athletic events:

2. From roundabout take first right exit onto Washington Street westbound.
3. Travel 0.1 mile to take the first right into the lots behind Litton-Reaves and Life Science 1.

Enter Southgate Drive from exit ramps from Route 460.

To Litton-Reaves parking lot when Coliseum Lot is full or closed for basketball game parking:

1. On Southgate Drive, follow signage to Duck Pond Drive.
2. Travel 0.3 mile; turn right at 4-way stop onto Washington Street.
3. Travel 335 feet and turn left onto Life Sciences Circle to the lots behind Litton-Reaves and Virginia Biocomplexity Institute. This is the Litton-Reaves lot shown on parking locations (see campus parking lot map).
4. See Visitor Parking for complete, up-to-date information on the types of parking spaces you may use. See your parking pass for all rules.
5. Smith Career Center is across West Campus Drive from Litton-Reaves.
6. Main reception desk on 1st floor.
   Employers conducting interviews may come directly to 2nd floor reception desk.

To Coliseum Lot, via Duck Pond Drive:

1. Same as above.
2. Same as above.
3. At 0.2 mile, at traffic circle/roundabout continue straight to stay on Washington Street; travel 0.1 mile; turn right into Coliseum lot.

To Coliseum Lot via Beamer Way:

1. On Southgate Drive, continue to intersection with Beamer Way.
2. Turn left at traffic light onto Beamer Way. [Lane Stadium will then be to your right on Beamer Way.]
3. Travel 0.2 mile; turn left into Coliseum lot [across from Lane Stadium gates].
