Liz Wilson

Assistant Director

Liz Wilson joined the staff of Career and Professional Development in 2017. She has six years of previous experience in the career services field at two different regional institutions in the South. She has also worked in the Undergraduate Admissions office at Virginia Tech. Liz enjoys working with students as they make life decisions, including what to major in, which career field to pursue, or what to do after graduating from Tech.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison to the Pamplin College of Business.
  • Co-manage the Peer Career Advisor Program.
  • Serve as a liaison to the Services for Students with Disabilities office.
  • Federal Job Search Advisor for Colleges of Architecture and Urban Studies, Liberal Arts and Human Sciences, and Pamplin College of Business.
