Hunter Hilbert

Assistant Director for Career Development and College Relations

In July of 2022, Hunter Hilbert joined the Career and Professional Development team. Hunter is Assistant Director for Career Development and College Relations and serves as the liaison to the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and the College of Natural Resources and Environment. During his time in graduate school at Virginia Tech, he served the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences as a graduate teaching assistant. As an undergraduate and graduate student at Virginia Tech, Hunter served on the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Dean’s Advisory Council under Dean Alan Grant. In August of 2022, he was reappointed into a rolling position on the council and currently serves in an ex-officio capacity. Hunter is passionate about experiential learning and working with students to help prepare them for their next steps. Hunter holds both a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree from Virginia Tech — making him a two-time Hokie; he also holds a Virginia postgraduate professional teaching license. In his free time, he enjoys being outdoors, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.
