Squires Student Center | Unloading only | NO parking at Squires.

7:30 am - 5:15 pm Shuttles for employers to/from Squires & parking

8:00 am Employer check-in | outside Commonwealth Ballroom | 2nd Floor, same level as Mall entrance where you unload and meet shuttles
8:00 - 9:45 am Employer set-up in booths in Commonwealth Ballroom

Sponsorship opportunity job fair day registration fees:
Limited number of sponsorships. Includes: 
- Attendance for up to four representatives.
- Double booth space (two 6X8-foot booths with tables/chairs).
- Premium booth location in ballroom.
- Scrolling ad banner on The Fairs App.
- Your organization logo on the Fall Connection student web page.
- Breakfast, lunch, and refreshments. 
(Does not include interview day; note fees below for interview day.)

Sponsorship registration: $1000
Each additional representative (above four): $50

 

Non-sponsorship job fair day registration fees:
Registration fee includes:
- Attendance for up to two representatives. 
- One 6X8-foot booth with table and two chairs. 
- Breakfast, lunch, and refreshments.
(Does not include interview day; note fees below for interview day.)

Government / non-profit organizations:  $400
All other employers:  $500
Each additional representative (above two):  $50
Additional booth (limit one extra, for two total):  $250

How:
1. Hokies4Hire employer login 
 [If you are new to Hokies4Hire, you will create an account.]
2. Under the "Career Fair" heading select "Search."
3. On that page select "career/job fair."
4. See "Fall 2016 Connection fair" and registration link. 
When:
Registration open Wed. July 6, 2016.
Registration closes when the event is fully booked, OR Oct. 3, 2016, whichever occurs first. This event usually books full before the registration close-date.

Students place reliance upon this information in preparing for the fair!

Cancellation &
Refund Policy

Cancellation by you after registering, by email to Ashley Roberts, received (on business days):
—  Up through Sep. 16, 2016: full refund.
—  Sep. 17 - Oct. 3, 2016: $250 administrative fee.
— On or after Oct. 4, 2016: no refunds.

Event cancellation:
In the unlikely circumstance that this event is cancelled due to insufficient registration or unforeseen circumstances, the university will refund registration fees, but cannot be held responsible for any other expenses, including cancellation or change charges assessed by airlines, hotels, travel agencies, or other organizations.

If the fair is held, and the interview day is cancelled, fees paid in advance for the interview day will be refunded.

Shipping materials

Shipping materials to and from the fair.

DO NOT ship materials or exhibits to the Smith Career Center, or to the fair venue, or to any campus location.

Parking passes and rules

Parking passes will be provided:
- by email prior to fair to the email address provided by your colleague who registered your organization to attend,
- at the welcome reception,
- at employer check-in at the fair, and 
- at the designated parking lot by shuttle drivers. 
You must park in the designated area and display your parking pass (and take the shuttle to the fair venue) or you will be ticketed.
Career and Professional Development has no authority over parking on campus and is not able to void parking tickets.
