Connection Co-op & Internship Job Fair

If the university is closed or closes early due to inclement weather on this date, this will cause cancellation of the employer reception.

•

In case of university delayed opening:
If the university opens by 10:00 a.m., the job fair will begin at 10:00 a.m., as scheduled.
If the university opens later than 10:00 a.m., the job fair will start at the time the university opens.

Employer arrival time: Even if the university has a delayed opening, employers can still check in as early as 7:30 a.m., weather conditions permitting; if weather conditions are extreme please call Career Services at 540-231-6241 to learn if access is delayed.

If the university is closed Tuesday but is open Wednesday, the Connection Job Fair will be held on Wednesday, and the interview day will not be held.

•

If the job fair occurred on Tuesday, and the university has a delayed opening on Wednesday, interviews will start on Wednesday at the time the university opens. Interviews originally scheduled to occur before university opening time are cancelled. (For example, if the university were to open at 10:00 a.m., then the 8:30, 9:00 and 9:30 a.m. interviews would be cancelled.)

If the job fair was not held on Tuesday due to university closing, and if the university opens or has delayed opening on Wednesday, the job fair will be held on Wednesday, and the interview day originally scheduled for Wednesday will not be held.
Start time for the job fair will be 10:00 a.m., as scheduled, unless the university has a later opening time, in which case the fair will open at the time the university opens.
